We are proud to announce that from the end of March, PAMIS will transition from a shared chairing role to become the sole chair of the Changing Places Toilet Consortium. As co-founders of the campaign, we are committed to ensuring continuity and furthering the mission to improve inclusion and accessibility for people with complex disabilities.

Disabled Access Day takes place annually on March 16th, celebrating accessibility and raising awareness about the importance of inclusive access for all. It’s a day that encourages meaningful conversations between disabled individuals, businesses, and venues to help create more inclusive spaces.

We are delighted to announce that all of the new Changing Places toilets installed thanks to grant funding provided by the Department for Transport, in association with Muscular Dystrophy UK, have now been completed and registered and are in use on the motorway network!

In response to guest demand and investment in inclusivity, Butlin’s is opening its first Changing Places Toilet in Minehead on 19th July2024. It is located next to the brand-new, truly inclusive, £2.5millionplayground, Butlin’s SKYPARK.

Today is a landmark day at the Changing Places Consortium: we have reached 2,000 Changing Places toilets registered and appearing on the official map!
