Ideas of who to contact
We want to see Changing Places installed in all large public places. Below are a few ideas of some popular venues to target by asking them to install a Changing Places toilet. You can download our template letter- it is worth trying to make it personal to the venue you are contacting. Any parts of the letter that you need to edit are in red.

Transport providers
Airports: The best way to find out who manages your airport is to look at their website. We suggest you write to the facilities manager.
Train stations: The best way to find out who manages your train station is to look on the National Rail website or ask at the ticket office or customer service office at your station. We suggest you write to the managing director or the head of customer services.
Bus stations: Bus stations can be managed by a bus company, a local authority or a private company. The best way to find out who manages your bus station is to look at signs at the station to or to ask at the ticket office or customer service office at the station for the head office address. We suggest you write to the head of customer services.
Motorway service stations: The best way to find out who manages your motorway service station is to look at signs when you are at the service station or to look up your motorway service station on the internet. We suggest you write to the head of customer services.

Hospitals
You can get contact details for hospitals in the UK from the NHS website.
Universities and students unions
The National Union of Students has been very supportive of the Changing Places campaign. To try and get a toilet installed, you should contact the University and/or Students Union.
Universities: Most universities have a student support service for disabled students. This is probably the best department to contact. You can view a list of universities here.
Student Unions: Most students unions will have a Disability or Equalities officer. You can find out contact details for different student unions through Student Times.
Local authorities
You can ask your local authority to install Changing Places in your area.
Sports and music venues
Most music and sporting venues will have an access or disability officer who you can contact. Simply find the venue's contact details through an internet search.
Galleries and museums
You can find most contact details for galleries and museums on the internet. Most venues will have a facilities manager who would be responsible for access issues who you should address your email or letter to.
The National Trust
Using the National Trust website, you can find out what sites are near you by typing in your postcode and then you can get in touch with them by using the listed contact details.
