Northamptonshire Regional Changing Places Meeting

Northamptonshire County Council held the first Regional Changing Places event in the Midlands region on the 22nd September 2010.

The event was hosted by Sue Green who leads on the Changing Places campaign in Northamptonshire.

The meeting took place in Sessions House, County Hall, the new visitors centre where there is a fully accessible Changing Places toilet.

The event was attended by campaign leads from across the region and also by Cllr. Robin Brown, Cllr. Bob Civil and Sue Carmichael from the Department of Health.

The aim of the event was to share good practice, overcome common issues and to set the first regional action plan. Currently Northamptonshire has 12 Changing Places with another 7 that will be in place by 10/11.
