Loo of the Year Awards have actively promoted the need for more Changing Places Toilets throughout the UK for several years. As a supporter of the Changing Places Consortium and a member of the Changing Places Charter Group we help identify and recognise the very best facilities.

Our experienced and trained LOYA inspectors judge each entry against criteria which include the Changing Places Standards and entrants are awarded a Grading Certificate ranging from Bronze to the highest Platinum. The Awards are recognised as the standard for 'away from home' toilets throughout the UK.

Entrants benefit from raising awareness and promoting the quality and the cleanliness of their Changing Places Toilet. They also receive a current independent assessment of their toilets, receive an award which recognises and promotes the standard of their special toilet and helps raise the awareness of the need for Changing Places toilets.

There are Changing Places National Awards for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands and UK Trophies awarded to the providers of the very best toilets. Awards and Trophies will be presented at the prestigious Awards Event on Friday 5th December at the St Johns Hotel in Solihull.
