Lloyd's 20 Years

This week, Changing Places campaigner Lloyd Page celebrated 20 years of volunteering work at Mencap. Lloyd has done a great deal of work supporting the inclusion of Changing Places across the UK at places like Cadbury World in Birmingham.
During the celebration we had a “This is Your Life” style presentation which included many photos of Lloyd’s work at the Olympic Park and his participation in “The Big Squat” and “The Flush Mob” events in the past few years.

Lloyd said of his time at Mencap: “I have enjoyed meeting lots of people over the past 20 years. I’ve worked on many campaigns and found them all positive.”

Regarding the Changing Places campaign he added: “I have worked hard to get Changing Places in hospitals and at tourist attractions. I have attended many conferences to talk about the campaign. I am really happy with my new Changing Places tie!”
