This month we were delighted to register our 800th Changing Places at Old Trafford, home to Manchester United Football Club. Link here

 

The facility was installed by our campaign sponsors Aveso who have been involved in all our Premier League Changing Places which are also at Arsenal and Liverpool. A huge thank you to Leroy Binns and everyone who has been involved in campaigning for Changing Places to be installed at football clubs across the UK.

 

Glasgow Central train station, another Aveso installation, was also registered in January and is great result for consortium members Pamis who have been campaigning across Scotland for Changing Places at all major transport links. Link here

 

Aveso have also installed Changing Places at three Welcome Break motorway service stations adding Hopwood Park to the number this month. Link here

 

Our wonderful Changing Places campaigners across the UK have been making sure that there are new Changing Places being registered and on the horizon. We recently registered the Whitstable Harbour Changing Places here and have great news about a future facility coming soon to Retford. Changing Places campaigners are making a real difference to people’s lives across the UK.

 

Sarah Mitchell continues her great work on the Changing Places facebook page which has now over 12,000 likes. With nearly 4,000 followers on twitter our social media presence is growing fast.

 

We continue to be contacted by campaigners across the world who are interested in getting Changing Places installed in their countries. In addition to campaigners in Ireland, Australia and Germany we have had interest this month from New Zealand and we made a presentation to a group of parents from South Korea earlier this month about the need for Changing Places in all public places.

 

The lines close this week for The People’s Choice Changing Places Award supported by Aveso. The winner will be announced in February. Last chance to vote here
