Hi everyone,

My name is Leroy Binns and I work as a campaigns assistant on the Changing Places toilet campaign. This is my campaigning blog page where I would like to hear from you about your work campaigning for Changing Places in your area. Please send in your blogs to ChangingPlaces@mencap.org.uk and let us know what you are up to so that we can post them on the page.

My job on the campaign is to focus on Changing Places at football stadiums and other sport and leisure venues. This is because as you can see from my photo I am a big football fan myself. Everyone deserves to support their football team and without Changing Places toilets this will not happen because some people who have additional support needs will have to go home at halftime or even before. They could be even changed on a dirty floor This is dangerous, unhygienic and undignified.

I am also working to get airports to have Changing Places toilets. We have a Changing Places toilet at George Best Belfast City Airport and one opened in 2011 at East Midlands Airport which is good but there is still room for a lot more. If you know of any venues with a Changing Places toilet that are not on the Changing Places location map please let us know so that we can contact them to get them to register. We can put them on the Changing Places map so that people will know where they are if they need a Changing Places toilet.
