The People’s Choice Changing Places Award – Winner Announced! 

We are delighted to announce that by popular choice the Winner of the People’s Choice Changing Places Award 2015 is…........ Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool.

Congratulations to Changing Places campaigner Maria Cook for her success in securing funding for a new Changing Places facility at County Mall.

The money comes from West Sussex County Council's Members' Big Society Fund which has been set aside to support social projects.

We were delighted to be invited to attend the launch today (3rd February 2016) of “Parallel London” at the London Aquatics Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. On Sunday 4 September 2016, London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will play host to the world’s first fully accessible and inclusive mass participation run for everyone of all abilities.

Celebrating 800 Changing Places –Transport in Scotland - Welcome Break register 3rd facility – Campaigner Success

This month we were delighted to register our 800th Changing Places at Old Trafford, home to Manchester United Football Club.

The Changing Places Consortium are thrilled that Manchester United has installed a Changing Places toilet; the 800th in the UK! The availability of Changing Places will enable thousands of fans to enjoy going to games at Old Trafford safe in the knowledge that there is a toilet available to meet their needs.

Last year, one of our wonderful Changing Places campaigners, Alison Beevers, created the inspirational "Changing Places Selfie Kit" for the Retford Changing Places campaign.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital has an innovative new changing and toilet facility. It is for people who cannot use standard accessible toilets, who have profound and multiple learning disabilities, or who have other disabilities which severely limit mobility such as muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis.

Changing Places Annual Report – December 2015

2015 has been a landmark year for the Changing Places campaign as we head toward our 10th anniversary next summer. We wanted to take a moment to look back at what has happened in the world of Changing Places in 2015.

2015 has been an inspirational year for us at Changing Places. The greatest successes have only happened because of our wonderful campaigners and supporters who have made sure that the Changing Places message gets louder and louder across the UK. We will be celebrating some of those successes on social media over the Christmas period and wanted to share some of our favourite pictures of the year.

Over the next two months we will be working with our campaign sponsor Aveso who are once again supporting The People’s Choice Changing Places Award. Voting is now underway to find 2015’s most popular Changing Places toilet according to our wonderful campaigners and supporters.
