Great news! The Changing Places facebook page now has over 10,000 likes and continues to grow in popularity on a daily basis. We would like to thank the wonderful Sarah Mitchell, who co-ordinates the page, for her commitment to the campaign and for creating such a positive meeting space for campaigners across the UK (and the world).

10th November 2015

Next year the Changing Places campaign will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. Our successes across the UK over the past 10 years would not have happened without the ongoing campaigning by families and individuals who make sure people are aware of the need for Changing Places toilets in all public places and buildings.

Stansted Airport in Essex has two Changing Places toilets installed by our sponsors Aveso and we are delighted to support the airport’s further commitment to accessibility for all. More information below from Disabled Go who worked with the aiport and aim  to maximise independence and choice for disabled people in accessing their local area and the places we all want to visit.

October has been a mixed month for the Changing Places Consortium.

In sad news, we bid farewell to one of the founders of the Changing Places campaign, Loretto Lambe. Members of the Consortium attended Loretto’s funeral in Dundee last week. The service was a fitting tribute to Loretto's life and work.

Sadly, Loretto Lambe, a founder of the Changing Places campaign died at the weekend.

30th September 2015

We have had a busy month and are completing the final stages of the new website map that will be going live sometime in October.

27th August 2015

A very busy month and some good registrations across the UK.
We are hoping to be launching the new Changing Places website soon.
We have met up with Mencap Cymru, RADAR Key Company and Disabled Go this month and look forward to building stronger relationships and support networks with all our colleagues and partners involved in supporting the Changing Places campaign.
