Write to your MP to sign EDM 1713

The Changing Places consortium has recently put forward Early Day Motion (EDM) 1713, a parliamentary tool that allows MPs to show support for issues they care about. The motion highlights the importance of Changing Places facilities to the over 230,000 people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, spina fida, multiple sclerosis and older people.

The EDM calls on the Government to amend Part M of the Building Regulations so that all newly built major public buildings provide a Changing Places toilet.

We now want as many MPs as possible to sign up to EDM 1713 and it is essential they do so before the Queen's speech in November, otherwise the opportunity will be lost.

And this is where you come in…You can now email your MP to ask him/ her to sign EDM 1713 by clicking on this link.

The more emails your MP gets from people like you, the more likely it is that he or she will sign our EDM and put pressure on the government to make the changes that are needed.

Take action: Please ask your MP to sign the EDM now!
